finally.

Just wanted to vent/gloat a little. I've never liked Neil Gaiman. I love his worlds and characters, but always, always disliked what he chose to do with them, in his stories. (Even the Endless. Even Coraline. Even that.) Just always got a bad vibe from the way he would torture them for nothing but the sake of visceral interest, which I think is lazy writing. Not that I could do better! Just saying, it's a known technique and there are more difficult but worthy ways to make a story engaging. It's mean. He has always come off as too mean, to me. sigh.
