Almost out of candy! I want to go to mom's and see how her pumpkin looks. Later, later.

So fun! I'm trying to spook the kids with spiders but they think it's lame. I find it hilarious. Like when Steph's mom used to try to scare kids by putting a vacuum cleaner under her stuffed scarecrow guy on the porch and then plugging it in when they got up to the door. omg I'm turning into my best friends mom!

3. I lose at Halloween. I was too ill to get dressed yesterday, so I tried to at least wear my plastic tiara with my PJs. It fell off. So I am vicariously living through you, is that OK?

Thanks so much, darlin. Halloween isn't so big down underish, is it? I've had Halloweens when I did nothing, too. Some years just work better than others, I think. *kisses!*

Nah, Halloween ain't big down here. Some people have parties, but most people ignore it. It doesn't help that like my friend from Minnesota says, it's not even autumn so what's the point?

We have the rugby sevens instead, which sounds really weird, but that's when dress-ups take over the country. You look out the window on sevens day and see hordes of Rambos and slutty nurses and Phantoms in purple unitards. The crazy thing is that people all dress up the same in groups, like teams.
