My roommate sends me this from his phone and says "Look what I found in the field behind the shop today at work!"
Oh christ that's a cute kitten! Baby girl from the looks of the markings. (Calicoes, including torties, can only be female.)
No mom, no signs of other siblings. Tried to climb the fence to get to the human when she was discovered.
His dad took it home and his mom bought it baby kitty formula (it can't be older than six weeks) and it is sleeping in his dad's lap.
I hope his dad keeps it to live at the shop.

The neighbors across the street have many cats, and one of them just had 4 kittens. I love how you can fit 2 of them into the palm of one hand...
