Snowy walk, Decembe 22nd, 2008

Chris came over (after spending all day digging out his car, de-icing it, and putting on chains, poor thing) and we went to Ristretto for coffee. Took pictures along the way, of snowy streets and coffee and such.

This is our backyard from my bedroom window, chairs and recycling bins with mounds of snow on them.

Ristretto from this inside, icy, snowy streets outside.

Our lattes with leaf patterns in milk foam, and an orange-ginger scone.

Chris with his latte.

Us outside of Ristretto, nice and caffeinated.

Us on the way home, in front of a snowy tree.

I made a snow angel, with a tiny head and a big bootie.

Neighbor's house, their small tree almost buried in snow, Xmas lights coming on as evening falls.

Icy branches.

Icy branches and the street with Xmas lights. When the wind blows, the sound of ice cracking on branches can be heard everywhere.

No fair! You have snow, and should have rain, and I have Artic temps and no snow!

I can't belive I'm missing out on the snow! It's cold here, but it looks like we won't be getting any snow this week. I enjoyed your photos. :-)

Pretty. I'm glad you are finding ways to enjoy the season, all be it a little strange there.
