my old apartment bldg is sadly upgrading from radiated to electric heat this year. this will be our last winter with radiators.

i will miss my radiator keeping my coffee cup warm on cold days.

as a family growing up in the NE quadrant of Portland, we always used the drop box at the McDonald's parking lot, down the way, in Portland's "Hollywood" district.

It's still there.

I love things that remain the same, as everything changes around them.

Voting is really difficult and uncomfortable for me, being a pacifist - my true ideals are almost never reflected on ballots.

But I try to do my best to be kind.
