I envy your 3 hour time difference. I wouldn't mind it being 2 pm again instead of 5. But then, maybe I shouldn't put off my homework until the last minute...

lunches! When you make food ahead of time for the whole week what sort of food do you make?

It's often cooked pasta with red or pesto sauce and a bit of parmesan to sprinkle on top, and a couple pieces of fruit. (We have a microwave and bowls/plates in the staff lounge.)

Sometimes it's just a can of organic soup and a chunk of bread (and always the fruit).

If I want sandwiches, I put on the cheese, protein, and condiments and then bring a whole roma tomato (with a knife) and a few leaves of greens in a baggie and put those on when I'm ready to eat.

If I've cooked rice or quinoa I'll bring a container of that.

I went through a burrito phase that was pretty awesome - black beans and rice and salsa and chopped scallions and tomatoes with cheese all wrapped up in tortillas with a little container of sour cream (I reuse the little plastic containers with hot sauce from to-go Mexican food for the sour cream).
