Jack-o-Lanterns
Carved pumpkins Monday night. Myrrh got a fire going and we had wonderful food and tea and worked hard and had lots of fun. Sleep-deprived and happy. Lighting them on the porch every night. So pretty.
I made a ghosty in a white pumpkin, a Jack face, and Myrrh made an awesome spider. (He made a bird silhouette too but he took it home before I took pictures - was kind enough to decorate my porch with his spider.)
So much fun!

I have a couple more I think I'll carve Saturday afternoon before the trick-or-treaters come by. And seeds to roast. I love carving pumpkins, even though it's tiring and sometimes frustrating. The lovely glowy-ness of it is priceless to me.

I want to buy her a set. Sort of a combination Fae/succubus type of wings, with aspects of dragon like wings and dragonfly like wings (if that makes sense?)
Please let moi know my friend.
Oh and those Jack-o-Lanterns look awesome. Even though we don't celebrate it here I am going to have to draw a Halloween pic soon.
Oh and I have an idea for a my style little girl like goth/dark Fae toon pic for ya.

Do you think you could sketch me a rough outline of the idea? That might help me figure out what you're going for. Or if you find a picture of something online that you like that would help, too.
I would only charge for materials and shipping, as I am not a professional yet. If you wanted to trade or gift something beyond that, you would be most welcome to. (I am going to ask the girl I'm making Tinkerbell wings for to make me some jewelry, as she has a small side business doing that.)
Materials usually run me around $20 for a pair. ($5 of wire, $5 of fabric/material, $5 of ribbon/straps for harness, $5 tape and glue.) If there is extra stuff like horns or jewels (my dragon wings have horns) it might cost me another $10-15.
I've never tried to ship a pair of my wings before and it might be tricky if they're dragon-y since they'd be kinda 3D. I'd guess around $20 for that, not for weight but bulkiness of the package.
I probably would not be able to complete them until around Christmastime, since I still have a pair of feathered wings I need to finish and I am slooooooow, hehe. Not a pro yet!
There are lots of lovely websites out there of people who sell wings so if you'd like to poke around I can send you some links. The really nice ones tend to be $100+ a pair, which makes sense given the time involved.
Re: off topic...
I will try and draw what i had in mind soon.
I had the thought of dragon or demon style wings but with almost a stain glass look effect to them with celiphane type stuff in it, so it would look like dragon wings but with the look of dragonfly wings too if that makes sence?
We are looking into getting some sculpi type stuff soon and I am going to try and make some of my toon characters into little figures or statuettes. I will draw you a fairy toon pic and if you like how she turns out I could do it on a small canvas and then when we get the sculpi stuff etc I could make ya one.
if ya want, we can send details etc through e-mail. That way i can send ya sketches etc.

I am not experienced with cellophane, but I have plenty stockpiled for when I'm ready to go for a shimmery iridescent wing attempt. Do you have any colors in mind? I have clear opalescent, purple, and opalescent red cellophane material on hand. Layering colors is also an option - I've seen this done and the effect is lovely.
