one happy thing

Was really missing my therapist yesterday, but a happy consolation prize - my passport arrived!

With a winter solstice issue date!

And the photo looks way less terrible than I thought it would.

(You can still tell that I was crying that morning, but it's not awful, just vaguely sad. Like me! Ha.)

Trying to make myself go running, it's hard when I haven't eaten. The bone broth I had intended to have was terrible. I might have another kind though that doesn't taste so bad. I will get something after running, it's better to stay in autophagy at the moment I think, kind of toughing it out, it might even help my mood a little bit, just the stress of it. As long as I don't accidentally starve myself it'll be fine.

Said I wasn't going to take care of Josh and then I made him a giant veggie quiche and pumpkin bread, sigh. I can't help myself.

Tyler will only come with us on NYE to Summit Prairie if he can bring two Mazamas people. I don't know if I want to spend NYE with strangers, not sure how I'm feeling about this sitch. Hmm. Just Josh and I alone would be kind of sad, especially right now when I'm feeling so cranky towards him. He works hard, I need to remember that, he isn't trying to make my life harder, he's just really focused on his own work. It's not his fault that I am focused on him and distracted from my own work.

Gotta get this run in furf. How to motivate bleargh.

I like the photo, though I can tell it was a rough day for you.

Hope you can get lots of mileage out of your passport!

It is such a relief when you have a valid passport! Not only for travelling but also for being able to prove you are who you are when having to do official things that need documentation.
