Really need to get dressed and go to the gym. Then farmers market, then all of the sparkles.
We had a sleepy ladybug wake up on the bedroom window this morning. Little shell covered in dust. I grabbed a jar and carefully coaxed it inside, which was easy once it realized there was water there. Was so so thirsty. Brought it out to the rose bush outside which is currently covered in aphids, despite the imidacloprid spraying they did in February - lots of good that toxic application did, assholes, the roses are flourishing regardless of the insects, though I bet they'd do better without the spray because more beneficial insects would survive, ANYway - the roses also had ladybugs. Mine didn't want to go, I kinda had to force it. It walked over the aphids - not hungry yet - and rubbed its little back on a stem, removing some of the dust. So cute.
I love bugs.
