And for me, a picture of the brunch I made for myself after Al-Anon and coffee with my step-dad on Sunday: 7 grain toast from New Seasons, red potatoes with kale, garlic, and onions, strawberries, and eggs gifted from a lovely barista's chickens with chives, thyme and oregano from my little herb collection on the sidestrip of our driveway. (I feel like I should give her a bundle of herbs or something in exchange for the dozen eggs she's given me in the past few weeks. Herbs wilt faster than eggs though. Hrm.)

Preston sent me these last night, in the midst of tears and self-destructive thoughts. That boy saves my life on a regular basis. (Yes, it is this easy to pull me out of my depressive states. I must be getting better.)

Still not done, but it's only minor stitching and the harness/straps left to do. Totally manageable in a day.

I may get up early and try to finish so I can bring them to werk for my coworker, who will be wearing them Friday.

But I may just bring them to her Friday morning. We shall see.

Myrrh and I dyed easter-like eggs together last Saturday. I haven't done this in several years, and must thank faeriecat for the inspiration.

I had eight eggs to color, as we ate four of the dozen for breakfast. Yum.

Myrrh's good at this stuff! I've never done the rubber band thing before. I found some old labels and we cut shapes out to use as stickers while dying.

This is my roommate Skot and his girlfriend Jordan, as dead FBI agents. (Zach took this too.) Skot made fancy name tags and everything. Told people "FBI - we need to confiscate your brains," ha! So cute.

(PS: Sorry woolly_socks if this contributes to your zombie nightmares! :/ I have those too but they are usually movie-style ones like Resident Evil, and have never included fairies or FBI agents so hopefully you are safe. Loves.)
