Made myself run after my nap. It was hard, I had a severe case of cat paralysis, Lunar so cozily curled on my lap.
On the track, the mental games are fun. My legs are tired and they kept trying to tell me to go slower. "Yeah, you're tired," I told them silently. "You were tired when you were laying in bed, too. Run faster anyway."
A knee complained the first mile and then quieted, but it was a reminder to eat more protein, so I'm eating sardines with my avocado toast, tonight. I've had three really wonderful meals, today. I am craving popcorn, and I do allow it on weekends, so I might do that in a bit.
Trying to decide if I want to watch something, or start a new audiobook? I think I'm done tidying the apartment for today. I can finish tomorrow.
Skipped my daily 2nd cup of coffee today, hoping it'll help me get back to a normal sleep schedule, after being up past 3am two nights in a row.
A weird headache keeps coming and going and I get a little dizzy at times. My shoulders still feel hot from the cupping, though the bruises have gone from dark purple to pale yellow.
I have one sparkle appt tomorrow, I'm making an exception for a moderately disabled lady who can't make it up the stairs to the studio. Then hopefully I can see my brother for an hour or so. Get some groceries after that, and clean the apartment in anticipation of Josh's late night return. I know he'll be exhausted, I kind of want to have a pumpkin pie waiting for him, but we'll see. I need more Japanese sweet potatoes.
Got invited to Easter dinner with the step-family and I'm over the moon about it, I was really hoping to see them for Easter. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.
Still high and reeling from dancing Thursday and Friday/Saturday morning.
The runners high may have also kicked in.
Gregory informed me and research online confirms that some people are immune to covid. Now that more than half of the US population has been infected, I'm starting to wonder why I'm the odd one out. Also, I learned that BA2 is "stealth" in that it tends not to show up on home tests. Every website I found about this tried to refute the idea that this strain is "stealth" by saying it *does* show up on home tests, you just have to test multiple times. It says if you test at the onset of symptoms it tends not to show, you have to wait 3-5 days and try again, and then test again a few days after that. Oh and mild cases tend to come up negative, too? Okay so at $20 a test, when the government has gifted us with exactly 4 free tests per household, who is going to do that?!??! When I had a sore throat and runny nose and headache for a day, after the Clover Run, I tested myself and came up negative. Now I know I just wasted a test, probably. Stupid pandemic lol. Always something new to stress over.
I'm just really grateful we're not at war. I might just meditate on gratitude for the rest of the night because wow, we are so fortunate.

In the kitchen I discovered a small garden spider sitting inside one of my glass jars in the drying rack. The very glass jar I typically use to escort spiders outside. So I figured, she wanted out. But then she wouldn't leave the jar, lol. So I left the jar outside, hopefully she'll go find some nice bushes to live in.

Slept in my clubbing clothes. I thought this outfit was so nice when I had my sparkly harness on over it and my thigh high boots laced up past my knees. But at 9am on a Saturday, I feel like such a skank lol. What is that skirt, serafaery?! Lunar fortunately has a kind eye for such things. >^.^<
