shifting stars
May. 30th, 2023 03:59 pmSo I caught an astrology show on NPR recently and the astrologer explained in a way that I could actually follow why and how the star charts that were created in ancient greece have shifted over the last two thousand or so years.
so if we fix that for myself, for example. my sun sign is actually Aries, which puts my moon in Cancer and my rising in Pisces.
Mind BLOOOOOWWWWNNNNN.
This makes sooooooososo much more sense.
I actually have already been reading Pisces and Cancer horoscopes because those two signs always seemed to resonate with me more. The Aries thing just solidifies all my mystery around the weirdness of my Taurus traits. I have all the passion and loyalty of a Taurus, but a total lack of stubbornness or grounding.

(not that I *believe* in this stuff, any more than I believe that Lunar is haunting my apartment as a kitty ghost. it's just fun to entertain the idea, yanno? what does anyone really know about anything anyway - don't get me started on epistemology, it was my specialty as a philosophy grad and i can end any argument with it.)
