I'm 47 and in perimenopause too. You have my sympathy.
My doctor didn't even test my hormones, just said she could refer me to an endocrinologist if I want. I didn't know if that's where I should go. I thought internal medicine doctors who are your family doctor could do HRT with you. So I'm confused, but luckily I'm about to move to California and will be getting a new doctor and can try again.
