Turns out I like nearly all the pictures I took at the beach. So I'll share just a select few that I like here, which is still a ton. Click for larger size (but not too large).

Put the camera on that weird "beach" or "sunset" or whatever it's supposed to be setting that makes everything all crazy white/glowy/contrasty, for a few shots. Fun!

I stayed too long after sunset spinning poi, but it was necessary. Too beautiful not to.

indeed :) The bikini shot is both hot and cool - hot because you're a babe (like you don't know it :) ) and an interesting perspective.

I like that your photography captures the beauty of what you're seeing - that you capture the emotion that you're feeling in the moment within your viewfinder. Pretty pretty :)

That's so kind of you to say, all of it, thank you! I didn't know if that bikini shot, or any of them, really, would come out, so I just tried it to see. I'm very pleased with the results! Even though the camera is crappy and I couldn't see anything in the screen and so had no idea how anything looked and had to use the little window viewfinder instead of the screen to take the pictures, I'm happy that some of the emotion still comes through these little images. I was feeling really free and spontaneous and open with the camera and I'm so glad it worked so well and that you can see that in the images. :)

You got awesome beaches! Oregon beaches, yes? Our California beaches are stupid. They're all full of seagulls, and the wind feels like sandpaper on your face, and there's people running around, and the water kills people!

Oregon beaches are the bestest. I like California beaches but that description makes them sound pretty crappy yeah! Ours are normally very windy and very cold, but there are just a few times in the summer where it's warm enough to be pleasant. The water is icy cold though! Requires wetsuits in the summer.
