First video!

So I randomly took this crappy video with my little Sony point and shoot 3.2mp camera the other night. And figured out how to upload it and so yay. Here's my chirpy kitty. And my first YouTube video.
I was delighted to learn that there are lots of videos of people giving their cats injections, so I don't need to try to record one for educational purposes.
Now maybe I'll record myself putting on makeup or something, heh.

Date: 2008-11-16 09:14 pm (UTC)That's a good idea! I've found that somewhere before I think - I have it on "auto" but to really boost the exposure I have to go override it somewhere, heh.

Date: 2008-11-17 01:26 am (UTC)She's such a chatterbox! So much to say!!
Can I send this link to my super cat-loving friend? I might have mentioned her to you when you were trying to organise getting Willow to your house and she was really unwell. She does volunteer work at a cat shelter so I think I was going to try to get some advice for you at some point. I think she'd like to see this! There's nothing she loves more than seeing chronically ill cats being well, loved and happy.

Date: 2008-11-17 03:55 am (UTC)It's pretty crazy to see how many videos there are on YouTube of people giving sub-q injections and their cats being totally chill and mellow about it, as if they don't even know, or just don't care, that something is happening. Why must Willow be so very sensitive? It's cool though - she's a happy kitty afterward and that's what really matters. :)

Date: 2008-11-17 04:30 am (UTC)My Nev just got a clean bill of health, or as good as, from his last round of tests. Which is so great after all the urinary trouble he's had. He was on some meds for a month which turned out to be some sort of magic bullet! WIN.
I get the feeling he's not going to have the epically long and healthy life my last cat Sophie did though - she lived to be 20 and only went to the vet about a dozen times in total.
My friend is coming round tonight, so I'll show her the vid. :-)
