Mushrooms (no not that kind - portabellas)

Preston got me a mushroom growing kit for Xmas. Funny little gift.

It's amazing to watch them grow. They grow so damn fast!

I harvested my first three last night, threw them in with my kale and onions. They were half the size of the ones that are still there.

All of these are mature - I'm apparently having mushrooms for dinner tonight. Whee!

Mushrooms injested

Forgot to take pictures of stuffed mushrooms! They were so delicious I was eating them over the stove, not even bothering to sit down with my plate.

Thought of a picture it at the last second, took one of the last surviving mushroom before it was ravenously consumed:





Stuffed with diced onion, mushrooms, tomatoes, and brocolli, with bread crumbs and parmesan cheese on top. YUM.

I need a food or mushroom related icon, hehe.
