Here are a couple crappy pictures and a shaky nausea-inducing video I shot of little P-Funk this morning. So you have an idea of what I'm talking about when I gush about my little old man:
He's 15, he has trouble with stairs, and he is such a love.
I'm so grateful for the opportunity to give him a good home and a good life.
He's getting used to our morning routine, already. He sat calmly in the doorway while I showered today, instead of howling. He sat next to me on the chair while I ate my cereal, and didn't paw at the spoon. He sat in the hall while I dried my hair, calmly, quietly.
Once he's more comfortable and settled in, I'll take him in to see what we can do about his hips. He walks gingerly and stumbles sometimes. I think some anti-inflamatories might give him a little relief. He chases the laser pointer like a champ, though! So quick. Good little hunter.
