that's a magic mushroom
Nov. 30th, 2020 05:01 pmSo that cauliflower mushroom I stole a chunk of? (Sparassis crispa to be specific.) I'm reading about the health benefits of this thing. It's my absolute favorite tasting mushroom. I've been eating them from the wild harvest guys for years, but this is the first one I've foraged myself.
It has bunch of highly robust scientific studies around it.
Extremely high anti-tumor activity, anti-cancer, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antimicrobrial, antifungal, antioxidant, increases hemoglobin production, decreases hypertension, increases collagen production and water retention in skin, decreases melanin production in skin at a much tinier dose than the drug used for skin-whitening, speeds wound healing, and improved quality of life reports in those being treated for lymphoma.
