how to remember.
Apr. 29th, 2022 11:09 pmI keep forgetting to take my vitamins.
My mom used to force me to take upwards of 20 supplements a day as a kid. My parents did Amway and the supplements were a big part of their scheme. They made me nauseated but for some reason I complied. I couldn't eat anything ginger flavored for many years, due to the giant ginger pills she gave me, along with massive alfalfa pills and tons of other crap, many of which were toxic in combination unbeknownst to her.
These days, my goal is to take D daily - all of us in the Pacific NW are woefully low on D so this is critical. And I just can't manage it? I want to take Biotin daily, as my nails and hair are not doing well lately. I have a B Complex that I can only force down once in a while, due to the taste. Same with the Omega 3 pills (they're just too big and oily for me to tolerate daily). I have a bottle of MenoFit thanks to Cynthia, which doesn't bother my digestion at all, but I can't seem to make myself take those, either.
Maybe I need to arrange some sort of small reward each time I manage to do this, until it becomes a daily habit and I don't need the reward anymore.
Maybe I could use this tactic for flossing as well. And my morning exercises which I failed to do all week, this week.
In happier news, my lower back finally stopped hurting today! Dancing and Dog Mt helped, yay.
I should take one more recovery day before I start running again. Looking forward to a day of rest.
