the new RV for this summer parked directly outside Josh's bedroom window started running its generator today. great.

(Last year the parked RV's generator kept us up every night for the entire summer. It wasn't towed away until after the holidays and some really loud screaming matches and physical violence.)

at least it hasn't exploded yet, I guess that's good?

One benefit of having Tyler over for dinner, aside from making a mountain of super nourishing healthy food that we are enjoying now as leftovers, is that it finally motivated me to clean the apartment. I didn't get to the walls/cabinets, but the sinks, tub, appliances, and floors are all gleaming and I have a lovely bouquet of purple and blue wildflowers from the farmers market that was huge and only $10, thanks, summer bounty! It's really nice to walk in and slip my shoes off onto clean floors.

one other quick post/reflection - another friend of mine in their early 40s had a heart attack, that's two people who are relatively lean/thin, in a month, that have had heart attacks and landed in the ER. Nan had one during her run, and the whole post kept saying she was healthy, and saying this can happen to healthy people.

it just makes me wonder. was she? did these people have heart defects? OR, is it that they are eating highly processed seed oils with every meal, like most Americans, thinking that canola oil is "healthy" or at least not thinking of it as highly toxic.

How much alcohol did they drink?

It's really scary. I'm just terrified. I want to get my heart markers taken, even though I eat almost no carbs or sugar, most of the time, quit alcohol, and avoid processed vegetable oils, especially canola oil, like the plague. I won't eat palm oil for environmental reasons.

(the last two nights I've been eating tiny bits of straight organic grass fed butter, my body craves fat sooooooo much, especially when I'm in caloric deficit. this, turns out, is WAY healthier than vegetable oil - I eat olive oil too which is also heart-healthy, but very easy to overdo, and cannot be cooked with.)

oof.

still in a lot of pain, today, nauseated and so sad.
