Want to attempt to do 31 days of gratitude this month, to get back into the habit.

no rules, it can be little lists or big lists. long explanations or single words.

I might make one public and one private version.

But at the very least, one small public one.

Gratitude Aug 1:

* Full moon on Lughnasadh

* Seeing the bunnies in the courtyard

* The sparkly work that I do

* Follow up eye appt went well, seems as if the only thing causing blurry vision is some residual fluid from the healing process, hopefully should be cleared up by Friday with no issues

* visiting a customer today at her home massage studio and talking at length about aging and nutrition and health and such (she's 60 this year and lost 50lbs recently and is in phenomenal physical shape and shared some valuable insights with me - she wanted fairy hair for a bikini contest she's doing in Las Vegas next week)

* such a generous and supportive and generous and patient husband

* a sweet coffee date with Finley, with much tenderness and soft touches and tons of support and comfort

* coffeeeeeeeeeeeee

* walking with cynthia and hanne this morning

* the warm warm sunshine, sunbathing at the soaking place

* treated myself to a maple bar because a) I'm allowed to have anything I want the first day of my cycle and b) I got ALL of my scheduling done for August FINALLY after SO MUCH STRUGGLE omg - I saved the doughnut until that was complete and it was blissssssssssssssssssssss (I can't remember the last time I had a doughnut, maybe in the winter?)

* buying heavy whipping cream and whipping it in a bowl and then eating the bowl

* 100% cocoa Total Blackout chocolate from Alter Eco

* pineapple lime ginger kombucha from Lionheart

* tofu salad rolls

* huberman lab podcasts

* morning meditations via various apps on my phone

* daisies exploding everywhere, especially the yellow ones with the black centers

* an alternate camping plan for the perseid meteor shower that Josh is excited about

* meeting Pixel this morning (a neighborhood free roaming bengal cat with a big voice and a friendly temperament who sports and air tag and big pale green eyes) - Josh loved him

* beaded bracelets

* was able to return the very expensive unused eye drops

* August tends to be the month I experience the least amount of physical/chronic pain in my body, hopeful I can make some more progress on my foot this month

* cleaned off my desk and couch in the office half of my room yesterday - not perfect but at least it's a start

* still one more day of relaxation ahead before I have to dive back into work

* sea salt

* infinite shades of blue

* artistic inspiration percolating under the surface, and the ability to schedule some time to allow myself to play and explore this urge
