Food was going so well but today I am cramping and hormonal and moody and it’s a bad holiday for me so I accidentally ate an entire bag of peanut butter covered pretzels, the super sugary kind, ugh. My period is ten days late so it might be extra painful, sigh. This winding down process of menopause sure is taking its time. I would rather skip more often but my body just wants pain and blood I guess lol.

I did lower my dose of progesterone so that might be part of it, sigh.

The rest of my food was really good though. Sheep yogurt with fruit and nuts and hemp seeds, an apple, a banana, almonds, and for lunch seared morels and nettles and one cracker packet. Taking all of my vitamins and supplements. Drinking extra water. Doing okay.

It’s a really pretty day. I want to visit mom’s bench but I’m worried about seeing my brother there. But that’s pretty unlikely, and maybe it would be okay.

Josh and I have a dinner date, Thai food tonight, looking forward to it.

Work was a really lovely distraction from the holiday.

If mom were here, and healthy, she’d be 83, we would cook waffles and play with the cat and she would play piano with Josh and we would drink so much coffee. She would get sparkles and we would watch a silly movie and Avalanche would love her.
