bats and faeries at the post office

I have a little side of my business for mostly fed by my youtube channel (where I post videos about how to do fairy hair), selling hair sparkles and starter kits and tools and such for those learning or practicing or professionally sparkling. It's not a very substantial amount of sales, less than what I would consider a microbusiness, but I do make post office runs a few times a week with my little caringly packaged boxes.

It's fun to pass other creatives shipping their own unique offerings in their own little boxes in the pre-pay drop-off area of the post office. Sometimes they have grocery bags full of various sizes, sometimes they have fancy colors or patterns or designs, sometimes they just have an armload like me of all the same size and shape.

today a girl said, "I just noticed your EARS" when I passed her in my work clothes (wings and ears and face paint and pants that look like leaves, etc.) - she was covered in tattoos and had just dropped off about the same amount of packages I did, but smaller - I imagine she's making jewelry but who knows - and she had the cutest little bat trucker hat I've ever seen, so I complimented her bat hat delightedly. Kindred spirits :)
