Finally cooked myself some food, for the first time in I dunno. I've been eating prepared food and snacks and it's been bad. I kept finding myself with handfuls of nuts and raisins today and finally decided that if I'm going to keep consuming unnecessary calories, they can at least be nutritious/medicinal ones. So I seared green garlic, shallot, onion, red daikon, chioga beet, halved grape tomatoes, and kale with freshly grated turmeric and ginger and dried oregano, ground fenugreek, cumin, coriander, black pepper, and salt, and dressed it with olive oil and ground flax seeds and nooch. so delicious. it actually felt good to eat for the first time in a while.
