feel a bit better, this morning. it's a legitimate feeling, that my life will never be as good as it was before covid. that is probably true. but i've had a really amazing life up until this point, and i still do. even if it's a little worse, it's still worth it.

i just got really hurt trying to get back to physical activity after lockdown, of course i did, going from nothing to suddenly trying to do what i used to was a bad idea and i'm sure i'm not the only one who tried this and got hurt. i'm almost recovered, i can schedule some work for the rest of the week and get moving again, slowly and carefully, it's okay that this happened. it'll get better.

i'm not sure adopting a cat is the best idea right now though. we'll see how the interview goes, maybe? i committed to being here for stanley in april (a friend's rescue pitbull who's having some really difficult behavioral issues) so i need to consider him first.
