status quo with gentle nudges will get us to a worse place than we were in for the last 4 years. things are way too out of balance, inequity is too extreme. corporate interests can't keep taking all the wealth if extremism, violence, and eventual implosion is not the endgame plan.

desperation breeds violence. this won't stop by moving along as if everything will eventually "go back to normal." the wrongs of both major parties over the last 40 years need to be undone.
