Oops I already missed a gratitude post! I will retroactively do Aug 3, let's see......

* eye healed enough to wear contacts again, no issues

* my sparkly job and the cute little studio I rent to work in, and how easy and low-cost it is to maintain that workspace

* sharing music and art ideas with Orvis (while he is sequestered away with a summer case of covid)

* having a quiet weekend to myself

* amanda's snuggles and contagious energy

* derek's encouragement

* fresh summer fruit

* half hour walks around the courtyard at dusk (these are becoming nightly regular walks for me), seeing four bunnies in the courtyard while walking last night

* being able to shorten my workdays when i'm feeling the need for extra rest

* my little reliable bright turquoise honda fit

* the fact that i haven't had any break-ins or theft or major losses or security issues in recent memory
