Trying so hard to watch this (with zero intention of ever being a parent) but it's so painful because all these "healthy tools of parenting" are all things Iiiiiiiiiiiiii neveeeeeeeeeeeeeeer goooooooooooooooooot so it's really hard not to just cry through the whole thing. "Kids need to feel safe, and they need to feel like they are real." Yep, nix on both counts tysm! (Don't worry, my parents won't be sad I posted this; they are no longer with us. And I know for a fact they never got these needs met themselves, either. Not blaming them. Just, sad.)
