This reminds me of the conversation I had with my mother when she was talking to me about my soon-to-be ex brother-in-law. How he wasn't making good choices because he was still not willing to give up alcohol for the betterment of his children. And I reminded her that when I was diagnosed with asthma she had that opportunity to give up smoking and she did not. she did not have a right to judge somebody for their addiction , when she herself could not give up hers either.
