It's hard not to turn right around and spend everything I earn. Today after work I bought cat food, litter, birdseed (to entertain the cat), and a wool felted house thingie for Avalanche - she was born in one of the wool felted owls, and I'd been waiting for a white one to appear in the store, but today there was this funny house shape and I just had to get it I dunno. She was very curious when I brought it home, and got pretty excited when I sprinkled a little silvervine powder inside. She took her beloved rat toy in there (a birthday present from August). I don't know if she'll sleep in it, but the idea was for her to have a warm cozy place to curl up if she ever wants one, like if she ever get sick or hurt. She doesn't really have any hidey places that are soft - she likes to nestle under my dresser on the cardboard boxes that are unfolded that I use for shipping, but otherwise she's generally on couches or the bed or cat trees, and I wanted to offer her a more comfortable place to hide, if she ever wanted one.
