Burning Man 2007 sadness

omg why is Burning Man all fucked up this year? First the Man goes up in flames five days early (that's a sad picture), now suicide? *cry*

I've seen this before when something gets "too big" and it begins to suffer the effects of a greater concentration of the curious or trend followers. We had a wonderful college venue here a long time ago with all sorts of major bands and such, but it eventually grew too large and died.
