serafaerykitty just had a really badly abscessed anal gland (ew), they missed it yesterday and he was miserable all night but he's at the vet now getting antibiotics and being looked after. he'll spend the day there. the stay alone, without the rest of the bill, will cost more than the money I'll make at werk today. so glad he's okay. that's all that matters.
my reaction, i.e., completely losing my shit and wanting to die, was disproportionate to the circumstances. and i don't fucking care anymore. i'm too broken to try to fix. i'm exhausted from constantly working on myself and getting nothing but hurt and hurt and more hurt.
