Life is good. So good. It's silly when I can't feel it. Glad to be feeling it now, anyway.

New acquaintances, happy hours, local Absinthe, the ex’s continued kindness and generosity and inexplicable tolerance of me and my stupid behaviors, clean bedding, late summer roses, spicy cashews, local farm fresh eggs, just the right spot to see a huge beautiful full moon, neighborhood cats, his patience with my unpredictable moods, kindness through the storm and consideration and gentleness afterwards, Noah’s vinyl-overall-wearing doppleganger in Streets of Fire, Willow’s head-buttings, flirting across tables, the end of the rain, it’s Grand Central Station in here, angels rush in where I fear to tread, gifted fresh blackberry shake initially turned down but eventually, quietly accepted, dinner after a brief but pretty wedding with a lovely family, the small, quiet shifts in my heart toward more love and less bitterness toward my parents, emailing with Dan Dennett, self-awareness in magpies, camo thigh high socks, star shaped shortbread cookies, the way Kris waves and hugs me when I pass through Backspace, the kindness of strangers and near-strangers and friends, watching people draw, Bumbershoot, boots in sand, Montage, soft, snuggly hugs.
