The way even the closest friends, when I express my fears over my inability to ever make enough money to sustain myself into old age, with no support and no help and no family and no resources to find a way to get what I would need to continue to live any sort of quality life as I continue to age, just sit and stare at me with a silent, "so glad I'm not you" echo behind their eyes.
