snowy day

skied all day. it was glorious. missed a call from the crematorium, it's okay, i really needed just one day with my phone in airplane mode.

came home and heated up bone broth for josh with winter chanterelles, red onion, thinly sliced easter egg radishes, beet greens, kale, carrots, scallions, and cilantro with some salt and pepper. Also mixed up a baked sweet potato with a ripe banana and 3 eggs and cooked him sweet potato pancakes in vegan miyokos butter. omg heaven.

i had one pancake but worked so hard skiing that i had to snack the whole drive home to stay alert, so i have no room for dinner tonight sadly. too many almonds and cashews. i ate a roasted acorn squash and an apple, too, on the drive. super yummy driving snacks.

i feel almost like myself, tonight.
