gender swap
Jun. 14th, 2021 10:54 amMiss Luna is a MISTER omg lol. So embarrassing! His finders were so certain he was female that I never really tried to double check, though this cat's boy energy had me wondering a few times. He reminds me so much of P-Funk - I have mentioned this here. Oh, boy. lol
$500 vet visit OUCH. But I wanted to check everything. He has a mild heart murmur (not uncommon) and some issues with his back legs that may or may not develop into arthritis later, and some dental disease. sigh.
I did send a message to that rando on Nextdoor. I know it sounds weird and I'm not trying to get rid of the cat, and absolutely it has nothing to do with his gender. But now that the name "Gomez" makes more sense, I just want to know the story, if there really is one. I don't feel like I can give him the stimulation he needs, he needs to run and this apartment is just too small. He is such a loving, trusting cat that it's clear he was not traumatized nor did he come from an abusive home (other than the declawing which in my opinion is abuse but not everyone sees it that way). If he has a good home and humans who love and miss him, I don't want to keep him from that. If he has a bad home or they just can't handle him or don't want him, I can keep him. Simple as that. But I would like to know.
