i like this one asmr artist so much, but she wears earrings that are hundreds of dollars and i just don't know how to relate to that. it makes me feel really alone. i don't think i've ever had earrings that cost more than $30 and i don't see myself ever owning such a thing. earrings seem extravagant as it is. it matters, it matters. there are people who can't buy basic supplies, they are our neighbors. it matters. doesn't it? that we don't squander what we have. i am still agonizing over the $20 sweater i bought recently. not because we will go broke because of it, but because, aren't there better ways to spend. wiser ways.
