serafaerysomehow managed to not drink, today. was trying to eat clean but broke down and ate a lot of candy and chocolate while cat-sitting at my brother's. he's got so much candy in his apartment. how am i supposed to resist peppermint almond rocha. i am only human.
the kittens are so sweet.
hopefully tomorrow i can pull out of this grief swamp and bake some cookies, and ride my bike, the rain should stop by 9am, so I'll bake in the morning, walk the cat, and then maybe hop on my bike for some exercise and a few deliveries. might even put on the unicorn onesie for it, it's been a while. even if cookies only make it to Gideon and Andrea, I'll be happy. I'd like to get some to Karissa but I'm not biking that far. Jasmine is close enough, though. Meant to drop some off for my brother tonight and forgot. probably just as well, he's pretty set as far as sugar goes. I also ate my fair share of cookies, today. the orange-almond vegan gf shortbread cookies I baked last night are perfection. munchmunchmunch. I chopped up almonds and oranges and topped them with orange zest. the sugar content is low and just perfect. i can't wait to do rosemary and elderberry and maybe chocolate batches in the morning.
taking fredrick to fivemile butte lookout tower sunday, since Josh can't go and tyler is opting instead to summit mt hood again, even though he just did two summits this week. he's bonkers. i'm a little nervous as fredrick can be kind of a lot, but we'll be fine, i'm an old hat at this at this point, i could manage by myself but that would be less fun. it's good to socialize with good people, i'm just always resistant to being pushed outside my comfort zone. we'll have lots of grey jays to play with, they show up every morning like clockwork, might bring wings and makeup for us, see what kind of shots we can capture. fredrick is a movement artist and knows how to perform in costume, i've wanted to pair with him as light/dark faeries and dance in the snow with the grey jays for two years, now. :)
