gotta get drest and go skate. it's been so many months i forgot how. not to skate - ice skating is like breathing for this body. but what to wear, how to place the moleskin on my heels correctly, how many layers of what kind of warmth, which gloves, what goes in my bag, water or coffee or both? snacks for the drive home? i'm scurred. but gotta just get my (very dull) blades back on the ice again. this will be life-changing if I can get back into it regularly.

made josh a smoothie for breakfast, to go with his pie - i roasted a butternut last night and baked him his favorite pumpkin pie, along with a batch of sweet potato biscuits, just had a need to bake. i did silks and ran 3 miles afterward. i ate okay (aside from all the sweet potato biscuits lol). starting to feel a little better. got some work done, so much more to do but i'm making slow progress, the only kind i know how to make, really.

plastic-proofed my office so lunar can sleep in here again. it's too sad sleeping without him, i decided last night.

gotta go get ready. coffee hasn't kicked in yet lol
