need to go to werk. do not want. but it's only for a couple of hours. and i'll make back what i spent on food today so yay (unenthused).

the hummingbird babies all fledged. i never got to check on them yesterday so I have no idea if they made it or got eaten by the lawn mower or leaf blowers that come on mondays or if they fledged this morning maybe? i dunnoooooooo. the last i saw early monday morning one was perched on the side of the nest, so, probably yesterday. i kept my sign out there though so hopefully they didn't get hurt, the landscapers were aware of them.

all one can do is hope.

that seemed so short a time for babies to be born and grow up.

mama did awesome, whatever happens.

i will keep an eye out for them around the feeders, mama will keep feeding them for a couple more days, and show them around, if they made it.
