serafaeryLots to do today, it feels so different not doing my step-family's stuff, it feels oddly better, at least this year. Just so glad we don't have to cross paths with my brother rn.
Clean room.
Henna hair.
Finish ugly sweater.
Wrap presents (get wrapping paper and bows out of the garage)
Roast vegetables
Bake more cookies?
Bake shepherd's pie? (I have leftover steak, chicken, carrots, and root veggies, it's not a thing I've ever made but it sounds like a good way to use up that collection of stuff? I have 2-3 baking dishes that would be about the right size for a husband-sized serving lol.)
Played with the cats, they were needing some stimulation. Cats really need that to be happy.
I fucked up my neck while sleeping last night. I slept on the futon in the livingroom to be with the cats. They seemed unhappy to be alone and locked out of our rooms last night. But I also ran in the morning, did silks at noon, and skated at night, while indulging in excessive amounts of gingerbread cookies and chocolate and the party I was skating for had fried rice and chocolate sheet cake. So, inflammation. So now I'm in an insane amount of pain and can't turn my head to the left more than about 20 degrees lol. This is going to suuuuuuuuuuuck. Maybe a hot shower will help melt it away a little bit. Been trying to do a tiny bit of self-massage. Normally I would just DRINK. but no, somebody had the bright idea to go sober lol.
I look terrible.
But I'm almost 50, what can you expect, ha. What am I supposed to do, not age?
I miss my boys. But I'll see them when it's not the holidays.
Going to decompress a little and then work on my hair and the sweater I guess. My poor room, maybe I'll just leave it a wreck. After xmas will be easier to clean up.
Ah, both the pet store and the coffee shop next to it near me are open today until 3pm, I can still get extra kitty litter and treats for them and a latte, yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay
