I took my audiobook "Determined" to the gym with me while I rowed and biked, today. Sapolsky already tore apart a piece of Dan's work, a piece that I don't remember too clearly and never noticed as consequential. But, Dan is kind of every philosopher's favorite scapegoat so it's to be expected that he can't get away with even the smallest unintentional mistake.

I am inexplicably exhausted, tonight. I think all I can manage is to keep reading. Perhaps get some dishes done before bed, perhaps not. I'll clean tomorrow. Today was for self-care and it was lovely and so so so necessary. I had such moments of deep and pure comfort, with Avalanche, with my books, with sunshine, just relaxing, after my workout. I forget sometimes in the go go go of life how beneficial it can be to slow down.

Might do silks in the morning, we'll see.
