Haven't done a gratitude list in a while - funny how the lack of them always coincides with feeling awful. Hmmmm. ;)

I found some things lingering on my werk computer so I thought I'd post them before getting started on a new list for this week.

A couple weeks ago, I was grateful for:

* handcrafted chai from Spella w/ Myrrh
* pretty red umbrella in the rain
* leaving the office to recycle materials
* dancing
* handmade earrings
* grrltime
* coffee & baby oranges w/ Myrrh and MSL
* colorful sunrise
* strange warm gusty dry January days
* nightcap at Swift w/ Jim and Val
* Mystique masks in Pioneer Place
* "you're cute" and "you look magical" comliments on the street after visiting Mystique

Here are a couple of my favorite Facebook pictures from the Faerieworlds Winterfest so far - faeries need coffee.

At the Faerieworlds Marketplace, to see Adam Hurst play and the end of the Saturday evening. I think my afternoon costume change from faery to satyr meant I missed the reported costume contest, oops.

In the lounge with Matt at the Bad Faeries Masquerade ball. I was a little tipsy and trying not to hit people whilst spinning poi.

damn...

Ya look amazing as always.

Going to try and draw you your bad fae toon pic soon.

going to take a week or two to work on new adult tales soon and want to work on the Vampish Fae tales ya inspired in that time.

Got a few ideas for ya now.

Big troll hugs.

Have I sent you the adult faun tale I wrote?

also doing one that has a take off of the Hind in it.

Ya so need to do yourself a Hind costume with gold skin and lips, gold velvet for legs and little gold horns and claws.

If ya have not already done one of course.

I am of course guessing ya know the legend of the Hind and her power.

You should email it to me! serafaery@comcast. net! :) I know of the Hind, but am not intimately familiar with her. Thank you so much for the lovely compliments, and the delightfully twisted art, and the trolly hugs, always. <3

I will dig it out of the files soon and send it to you.

The Hind was from Greek legends. She was the last of her kind as they were hunted to the point of near extinction because of the fact the blood of the Hind could kill a God or Goddess.

I wanted to do a tale of one that actually painted her claw like nails with her own blood and seduced Gods/Goddesses and the poisoned them with the blood on her nails.

I need to thank ye again for all the inspiration and yor friendship and kindness dear Lady. So greatly appreciated.

and have a huge troll hug.
