serafaeryzoom appt with naturopath went a little off the rails, this morning. but that's okay. hard to stop the tears.
not sure what to do. baby steps i guess. labs to rule things out, referrals for new ("super expensive") PT. i dunno.
could be worse. woken up last night by screaming dumpster divers from the nearby encampment. it's like living in a third world country over here.
stock market dive has josh feeling insecure. i've never felt secure in the first place so meh. i had a fleeting sense of financial security for what, a couple years? kind of all dissipated last year.
could be worse. i really thought the entire supreme court would be basically dismantled by now. it's a slower demise. tired of people saying "can we just hold out four years" when this guy specifically said that if elected, "you will never have to vote again." Do people think he didn't mean it? It's a lot of faith to believe it's not possible to end our election system. putin did it. our checks and balances are not checking and balancing very well, so far.
a few successes here and there, though. some shreds of hope. we'll see i guess.
i will just keep calling. 5calls.org works well for me.
i have the big bear eagle nest cam on my laptop all day now. so much activity in the nest yesterday. watching them eat dinner together was really sweet. the babies are brand new and so cute. a heard this is their first hatchlings in 3 years? they seem like very capable, smart, loving parents. they're both on the nest right now, just chillin.' tyler wanted to ski today but i don't feel emotionally up for it. maybe a gentle bike ride. we'll see. i need to sweep the floors and try to force myself through morning exercises, i haven't done them since we got back from joshua tree, i don't think. it's been a week at least.
life is just hard. but not over yet. not doing well but it isn't insurmountable. will try to get some progress on taxes again, today. it's also been a week since i've even looked at those.
work is chill this week. i took it easy on myself. hopefully can get taxes done this weekend.
i'm glad Josh didn't have to fly to texas. poor love. he will present to them live over zoom tomorrow i guess.
