At least I got a pair of my bunny ears back.

I gave them to people at my birthday party who are no longer speaking to me. A pair got given as a white elephant gift at the Someday. I won’t name her. I don’t want my life to be about how these people still find ways to hurt me, anymore. Everyone knows where they came from. They made their way back to me. Of course.

I spent more than a full day's wages on those ears for everyone who came to my party. I was so happy to share something joyful and silly with people who wanted to spend time with me.

Life is doing so much kicking while I'm down. It's funny how privileged people are the most cruel, and they are most cruel to the weakest, those of us who have nothing, less than nothing, no family, no house, no financial support of any kind, no savings or inheritance, no lovers, chronic pain, those of us barely scraping by, who likely won't live past age 60. They see something fragile and they throw rocks, to watch how easily it bleeds.

Just gotta keep getting further from throwing range.
