gentle friday.

went to the club last night. got some Timo snuggles. danced with finley and manders. gave derek a hug. came home somewhat early. it was okay. deep sigh.

I don't think it was great for my foot. have not

i saw an eaglet poop this morning lol. and shadow fed the babies! i've never seen him do that before. the wind gave him trouble, kept blowing little meat pieces away before the babies could grab them. but they got a few bites. their nest is still covered in snow but the sun came back out, today. there is a significant hole in the third egg, i think the third eaglet will make its way out of there by tomorrow.

time to make josh lunch and dinner and myself some breakfast and get ready for work, or as Jessica Macbeth calls it, "krow." Cooked Josh some steel cut oats this morning, he seemed to enjoy it.

can maybe take a gentle walk in the park after krow this afternoon.

cuteness in the way of my tea refill

just realized the other day that one of my faery hair tying tutorial videos has over 20k views. I don't even know when or how that happened. I knew I had around 5k on the first one I did - the second one was just kind of an updated do-over since it had been so long since I'd created one. I don't even know if it's any good lol - the original tutorials were more carefully done. anyway I'm glad it's getting seen. I should probably think about making more youtube content. I would love to do more faery hair content and also wing-making, both things are quite popular and I really miss making wings. Now that I am afraid to hike or ski or dance with multiple bone spurs in my foot and no relief in sight, along with no longer running, climbing, or skating, I have more time for art. with watching all the doodles I definitely want to get a water brush and start working through the tiny cotton art book I have with my glass dip pens and ink. Before I move onto a different medium. I should use up the whole $10 in materials for dip pen art I have first lol. it's not as satisfying as a regular pen as getting the saturation is difficult, but maybe with a water brush I could dilute and blend the ink and make things more interesting. I dunno. Or I could just scribble slowly until I run out of ink. either way.

hoping to get taxes filed tomorrow, we'll see how that goes, i'm certain i'll hit a snag or three, i always do, but we'll get there within the next few days i think.

very very very very tired rn. i did walk for an hour in the park after work. slowly, on barkdust trails. hung out on mom's bench. i saw quinn and achilia. i avoided them. i wonder if they were visiting rose. she lives in my old neighborhood. i will never be able to afford anything close to that area.

need more tea but avalanche is snoozing on my lap. dilemma!
